Text Book: IFSTA, Pumping & Aerial Apparatus Driver/Operator Handbook, 3rd Edition

Description: Through classroom sessions and practical fieldwork, this course will provide the student with the knowledge and skills required for driver operator’s aerial in accordance with NFPA 1002. This course will take the new driver/operator through the basic components and operational procedures to the advanced levels of apparatus preventive maintenance considerations and strategy and tactics involving aerial device operations. This course is designed for the experienced firefighter who is expected to drive and operate aerial devices.
