Lehigh County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) offers free CERT trainings to develop our community’s ability to respond to emergency situations. The 16-hour CERT training includes:
- CERT Program Overview/Introduction
- Disaster Fire Suppression
- Disaster Medical Operations
- Light Search & Rescue
- Incident Command System
- Disaster Psychology
- Safety Strategies for Terrorist Incident
- Animals in Disaster
New CERT Volunteers - All training sessions are required. Please contact us if you cannot attend all the dates. We have a plan and want to help you complete the CERT training.
Existing CERT volunteers – The sessions are recommended as a refresher.
