Part II focuses on modern vehicle construction and how auto manufactures have hardened their vehicles to maintain a survival space for the occupants during a crash. It begins with a closer look at the harder materials used to create the hidden roll-cages and even harder material used to stiffen the high impact areas of the vehicle. It continues with different styles of frame construction and finishes with various ideas and useful extrication techniques to help the rescuer increase their success and put valuable time back into the Golden Hour. Part II has been further divided into multiple parts due to the increasing amount of valuable information we have gathered in each vehicle component.
