This course provides instructional review of the laws pertaining to fire police powers and the expected duties of a fire police officer to include health and safety and legal aspects of performance. Fire Police Officers will also be taught how to deal with people, how to manage incident response and leadership qualities. Tabletop scenarios will be presented to reinforce the lessons introduced in regards to incident management and response.

Emergency Boat and Rescue Operations (EBOR)

This 16-hour program involves skills of boat operation for rescue including boat selection, recommended equipment, boat handling, boat used rescue technique, and extrication from the water. This is a must-have course for any rescue unit involved with on-the-water operations. Emergency Boat Operations and Rescue course trains rescue personnel to select, outfit, operate, and rescue individuals utilizing boats as a rescue platform.

Water Rescue & Emergency Response (WRER) PA. Fish & Boat.

Planning for water emergencies, dynamics of moving water, medical conditions, personal safety & fundamental rescue techniques (self & shore based). The course provides students with classroom and hands-on training. WRER is a prerequisite for all PFBC technician level training programs.

Prerequisites: Age 18 and up Gear: US Coast Guard approved PFD, water rescue helmet & appropriate clothing for water & weather conditions, Food & Drink
